The district is proud to announce that 103 Malverne High School students have been recognized by the College Board as AP Scholars for their outstanding achievement on Advanced Placement exams taken during the 2025-26 school year.

To honor their exceptional dedication and academic success, the district hosted a celebratory breakfast ceremony on July 21. While some honorees were unable to attend in person due to summer schedules, the school community celebrated the entire cohort of 103 scholars in spirit.

About the AP Scholar Awards

The College Board’s Advanced Placement Program offers students the opportunity to tackle college-level coursework while still in high school. The AP Scholar Designation is awarded based on students' performance on standardized AP Exams across multiple subjects. Honors are awarded in three primary tiers:

• AP Scholar: Earned by achieving a score of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams.
• AP Scholar with Honor: Earned by achieving an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more exams.
• AP Scholar with Distinction: Granted to students who achieve an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more exams.
