Malverne Educator and Student Honored for Science Excellence

We are proud to announce that two standout members of the Malverne High School community were celebrated at the 27th Annual Nassau Science Teachers Association of New York State Science Award Dinner, held on May 19 at Coral House.
Malverne High School science teacher Kevin Link received the prestigious 2027 Outstanding Science Teacher Award, an honor reflecting his exceptional dedication to inspiring students, fostering scientific curiosity and elevating science education within our classrooms.
Joining him in the spotlight was high school senior Geoffrey Gross, who was honored with the 2026 Outstanding Science Student Award. This recognition highlights Geoffrey's exceptional academic achievement, hard work and commitment to excellence in the field of science.
The district extends its warmest congratulations to Mr. Link and Geoffrey on these well-deserved honors.
