Seniors Receive Outstanding Physical Education Student Award
Malverne High School is proud to announce that seniors Makayla Boubert and Jayden Jungra have been honored with the 2025-26 Outstanding Physical Education Student Award. This prestigious recognition is presented by the Nassau Zone of the New York Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.
The Outstanding Physical Education Student Award is granted annually to graduating seniors from throughout Long Island who best exemplify the organization’s high standards. Selection is based on a rigorous set of criteria, including exceptional academic achievement and consistent leadership in schoolwide extracurricular activities.
In addition to their accomplishments in the classroom, Makayla and Jayden were recognized for serving as positive role models for their peers. They consistently demonstrate the confidence, good character and dedication to health and physical education.
We congratulate these two outstanding student-leaders on this well-deserved honor and commend their commitment to excellence within the school community.
