Students Attend Youth Summit in Albany as Guests of Senator Bynoe

Six Malverne High School students recently traveled to Albany as special guests of Senator Siela Bynoe to participate in the Youth Summit hosted by the New York State Association of Black, Puerto Rican, Hispanic and Asian Legislators.
The annual summit brings together students from across New York State for a day of leadership development, civic engagement and dialogue with state lawmakers. Throughout the event, the students attended workshops, participated in discussions on pressing social and community issues and gained firsthand insight into the legislative process.
The experience provided students with a unique opportunity to visit the State Capitol, observe government in action and engage directly with elected officials. The summit emphasized the importance of youth voice, advocacy and public service, inspiring students to become active participants in their communities.
The district extends its sincere appreciation to Senator Bynoe for her continued partnership and for offering students this meaningful opportunity to learn beyond the classroom.
