Malverne Students Attend VE Leadership Conference at LIU Post

Malverne High School students representing their Virtual Enterprises (VE) firms, Guarded Jewels and OwlWatch, attended the VE Leadership Conference at LIU Post, where they had the opportunity to network, collaborate and present their business ideas.
Guarded Jewels team members included:
- Matthew Dacosta – Chief Executive Officer
- Emmy Pierre – Chief Operating Officer
- Danielle Johnson – Chief Marketing/Sales Officer
- Kelly Rodriguez-Castellon – Chief Financial Officer
- Sheldon Payne – Chief Technology Officer
- Tyler Gordon – Vice President of Marketing
OwlWatch team members included:
- Dayami Guaman – Co-Chief Executive Officer
- Makayla Boubert – Co-Chief Executive Officer
- Nahmiah Bryant – Chief Marketing/Sales Officer
- Tannu Singh – Chief Financial Officer
- Benjamin Bajana – Chief Technology Officer
- Matthew Wyss – Vice President of Marketing
- Courney Anderson – Human Resources Manager
Each firm had the chance to deliver their elevator pitch in breakout sessions with other student-run companies. Emmy Pierre presented on behalf of Guarded Jewels, while Matthew Wyss represented OwlWatch.
