Malverne High School Named 2024-25 School of Excellence

The district is proud to announce that Malverne High School on being named a 2024-25 School of Excellence by the New York State Public High School Athletics Association!

The School of Excellence status requires that 75% of a school’s varsity teams receive the NYSPHSSA Scholar-Athlete team award. To qualify for the Scholar-Athlete award, 75% of a team’s players must have a grade-point average for the season equal to or greater than 90%.

Only 42 schools on Long Island and 221 schools statewide were awarded the Schools of Excellence designation.

We are proud to congratulates all our athletes and coaches on this exciting achivement. This recognition is a testament to your hard work in the classroom and on the field, and your outstanding focus on teamwork and commitment to fairness and good sportsmanship.  #GoMules
