Welcome to Malverne High School, where our commitment to educating the whole child is evident in every aspect of school life. Our academic landscape offers exceptional opportunities across mathematics, humanities, sciences, athletics, music, and fine arts, each designed to support a balanced and enriching educational experience.

In our Business Department, the Virtual Enterprise program allows students to simulate and manage every facet of a real company, including accounting, marketing, information technology, and human resources, culminating in regional and global competitions. Recently, our VE team’s company, “MyGrowth,” achieved gold-level ratings and captured top medals at trade shows, a testament to the creativity, innovation, and professionalism of our students. 

Financial empowerment is also a cornerstone of our curriculum. In our Economics Department, students gain practical knowledge of personal finance, including budgeting, investing, insurance, and retirement planning. Their achievement has been recognized by the W!SE Financial Literacy Coalition, underscoring their readiness to succeed in real-world financial decision making.

Our STEM programs are designed to challenge and inspire students through rigorous, hands-on learning experiences. In partnership with the University at Albany, our Science Research in the High School program offers juniors and seniors the opportunity to conduct original research, earn college credit, and present their findings at the university’s prestigious symposium. Complementing our research program is our Project Lead The Way (PLTW) curriculum, which provides students with innovative pathways in engineering, biomedical science, and computer science, equipping them with critical problem-solving skills and preparing them for success in the most demanding fields of the twenty-first century.

In our Fine Arts Department, we take immense pride in our Select Choir, a program that continues to distinguish Malverne at both the local and international level. From sweeping top honors at the Music in the Parks festival, including Best Choir overall, Best Soloist, and the Esprit de Corps award, to delivering inspiring performances abroad in Ireland, our choir exemplifies the artistic excellence and cultural richness that define Malverne High School.
